Hi I am Currently looking for an LM27 with bilge or triple keel as my berth is in a drying harbour in the North East of Scotland. Anyone either thinking of selling or know someone who might be tempted.
I think the triple keel ones have just had plates added to the turn of the bilge (i.e. I don't think it was ever a factory fitment). I have a 27 for sale that has a pair of proper beaching legs. Not sure if that would be of interest? Boat is lying Greenock...

That is my understanding, too. I am not aware of a bilge keel version of the LM27, I think they were all long-keeled, and a few owners have fitted bilge plates, turning them into triple-keelers.
(There were bilge keel versions of at least some of the later series LM motor-sailers - i.e. the LM26, LM28, LM30 & LM32 - but most of them were fin keeled.)
Thanks for all the help and advice and i have now purchased one with the bilge plates fitted. Now need to get out on the water and salvage the rest of the season.
