6+ months into my LM30, I've finally got sails back on, and trying to work out where bits go.
I'm finding that the main sheet running from boom onto wheelhouse roof (single eye), has blocks of a size that the sheet cannot be tightened enough to stop movement of the boom.
So Question 1 is - is that normal?
Could I get some feedback as to sizes of sheets and blocks that other owners are using?
Finally, would adding a mainsheet track to the wheelhouse roof be recommended, or unnecessary?

We have a traveller mounted to the pilothouse roof on our LM32 as some others on this forum do, and I find it very valuable for getting good tension on the mainsheets when near close hauled. If I didn't already have one, I certainly would add it. Member Chrismunson added one to his LM32 and you can read about his installation (including pictures) in his post "Traveler for LM32". (The track would be about 8 feet long, instead of 4 feet as noted in that post. Also, my main sheets go from this arrangement forward along the boom, then turn down and aft at the mast then are lead aft through the same passages as all other cockpit controlled lines to my winch in the cockpit; while his mainsheet appears to drop straight down from the end of his boom.) I'll have to check line and block size next time I'm on the boat. I'm guessing it's 5/8" double braid line.
