I have just been quoted about £2,200 by Crusader Sails for a genoa with sacrificial strip, a mainsail with two reefs and a lazy jack bag and lines. I see that you are in Scotland but I would be confident in ordering from them and paying for delivery. I have had sails from Crusader for a previous boat and have been pleased with the price and product. The only reason why I didn’t proceed was because the local sailmaker valeted the current sails and pronounced them to be in good order and not yet needing replacement.
Thanks Bob, I will keep them in mind as that sounds a reasonable price. I am currently awaiting a quote from a local sail maker in Port Edgar near Edinburgh so this poat is helpful Allan
Resen Sails are excellent, good price, especially off season, and shipping is fast. They are very familiar with LMs. You will get an estimate immediately. I am in US and ordering and shipping was not an issue.
Thanks everyone I have went for Jeckells sails which came in at £2250 including postage packaging and insurance. Very helpful customer service and they had measurements on file for another LM27 which pretty well matched my own measurements. This was reassuring given it was my first time ordering new sails.
