our 33 has a bulb keel (bolt on iron) she has been in a marina which partly dried at each tide, so lifting her slightly out of the water, when we took her out of the water the other day and set her down the bottom of the hull around the keel 'flexed' about 25mm, I want to know why and what remedial action to take,
Hi Malpam, If the bottom of the hull has flexed I think you should seek specialised help on fiberglass. If your keel is encaplulated on fiberglass like the LM 30's and what flexed was the bottom of the fiberglass around the bottom of the keel you need to grind all hollow fiberglass and glass again. Best of luck, Pedro
Thanks Pedro, the 33 is different to other LMs in that it has a bolt on keel, I am going to get advice from a surveyor and as you say specialist fibreglass repairs. MalPam
