Yes please, that would be really helpful. BTW, as you're in Gosport it might amuse you to know that my mooring is in Weevil Creek so I need a 27 rather than a 30 as the mooring can dry onto soft mud at low water LAT!

Were you aware that some (all?) of the later models - i.e. LM26/LM28/LM30/LM32 were available with bilge keels, though most examples are fin, I believe.
Yes I was, thanks, but the mud is so soft here I'm not convinced that the keels would free easily on the rising tide. I fear there is also a good chance that the drive leg would get pushed down into the mud which could also be problematic as the mooring is to fore and aft buoys at right angles to the tidal flow.
The next mooring along takes a Contessa 32, which indicates how soft the mud is - more a liquid slime I guess.
