Anyone got a Mascot 910 (like the LM 30) or know anyone who does? Trying to get copies of any spec docs or user manual in English. Thank you Jarlath Keogh
The Mascot 910 was designed by Palle Mortensen who also made the LM16, 21, 23, 23 comfort and Lm27 plus several Mascots. readhere: www.udkik.dk/da/manufacturer.jsp?id=Palle+Mortensen The Mascot 910 is not similar to the LM30. It is shorter and slimmer. Between a Lm 28 and the LM30. Weights 800kg less than the 30. Read the specs here: www.udkik.dk/da/zzshow.jsp?id=652540d8236245061201fe7d2095ab86 The LM30 was designet by Bent Juul Andersen and both he and Palle Mortensen worked for “Lunderskov Møbelfabrik” (furniture factory)when they started building fibre glass boats. Palle started by his own in mid 70ties making his own shipyard “Mascot” So…except from the Mascot 910 was designed and made by Palle Mortensen, it has nothing to do with the LMs. (it sails fine - just like the 28/30. Good craftsmanship, reliable, solid) Not so many were built - they were hand made and became too expensive compared to the machine moulded boats coming up in the 80’es (Jeanneau, Bavaria)
Jandane, Thanks a million for all of this feedback. Very kind of you. I've also enjoyed your other posts. I was looking to buy an LM 30 last year - super boat, when I came across a Mascot 910 for sale. I've bought the 910 in Northern Denmark and will enjoy a Baltic cruise home to Dublin via the Kiel Canal. As you rightly point out, there not many of these boats about. Makes me feel even luckier. I would hope that if I came upon a flotilla of LM's on my way home, I could join in - even with my flat transom! Thanks again for this most useful information.
Thanks a million for the feedback, Jardine. I've bought a 910 in Northern Denmark and will sail her home in May via the Kiel Canal to Dublin. While the boats are not identical I do think they are quite similar. I do hope I end up as happy as all you proud LM owners are of your beautiful vessels. Really really looking forward to being able to step in out of the bad weather and have some comfort at the wheel. I do hope if I passed an LM raft-up, I would not be ignored for having a flat transom ☺☺
Enjoy, even with the odd shaped rump. In Bogense harbour, north-western part of the island Fyn, where Lillebælt starts, a LM annual meeting will be held on 24. 25 and 26 June. You most certainly will be welcomed - even in a Mascot. Where did you buy it?
Bought her in Aalborg. Fly there start of May and plan to daysail to Grena, Aahrus, Middlefart, Sonderborg and then Kiel - our first Baltic cruise, before continuing thru the canal - only 6 weeks to wait 😀
That sounds super. You will pass Bogense before the annual meeting in june. If you are interrested, then join the LM klubben Facebook and tell about your trip. All harbours have some LM owners ready to meet you. And by the way….the waters you are sailing before the Baltic, is Kattegat, Århus Bugt, Samsø Bælt, Lillebælt

Dears, I have the intention to buy a Mascot 28/910, but wonder what the difference is between the 28 and the 910. As far as I discovered through the various sites, I believe that the 28 has a aft cabin and 910 not, while the 910 has a double spreadered rig and a bowsprit. Are the hulls the same?
