Can anyone help me? I have water in the small bilge between locker and toilet and under battery (wood is wet). Seems coming from SBoard side after heavy rain. On the floor in cabinet it also gets wet.
Which model boat? Knowing which model you own may lead others to different suggestions, but if the water is fresh, not salty; and if the leak only occurs after a rain; perhaps it is a leaky window or through-deck fitting. The original Ertec aluminum window frames have holes in their bottom edges, which can allow water that seeps between the seal and the glass, to drain into the area between the deck and the headliner. It can accumulate in that space, until it finds a place where it can seep down into the bilge. That was a problem on my boat before I removed and resealed my windows. I also run a dehumidifier (Eva-Dry 2100) during the cold and damp seasons to prevent condensation from forming on cold surfaces. No water in my bilge since resealing the windows, and adding a dehumidifier.
Please also check the tubes which lead the halyards to the cockpit. On my LM32 they are leaking rainwater which then drops in the little lockers behind the pantry. As a workaround I closed the unused openings with tape. Regards, Andreas

Gazanders makes a good point. I have found that if the lines through these passages are really taut, they bring in much more water than if they are left a little slack. Fortunately, my pipes through the galley don't leak, but with taut lines the water runs through these passages and on into the storage shelf under the side deck in the cockpit. With slightly slack lines, for some reason unknown to me, no water appears on these storage shelves!
Many thanks and sorry it is a LM 28 and I found the main problem which was the floor boards and missing rubber where they connect. But I still find water in the closet on the ground which must come from the steering side outside somewhere or from window. Only with heavy rain. Will check on the Halyards tubes and window seals. I put a hose on it but does not reveal the leak. Assume it has to be a long time water vertically dropping.
Same here, leakage after heavy rain. I also found water in the closet. I suspected the wheelhouse windows on the starboard side and sealed the windowrims this spring with a thin layer of polymer kit. Problem seems to be solved.
The floorboard in front of the stove is wet. I think water passes under the wooden wall next to the door, where it rests on the white plastic base. I need to reseal this rim, it is where the 'gutter' passes outside in front here.
Black water leaks underneath the starboard winch. However, it does not seem to come from the winch itself.
Further more leakage from two aluminium windows. I consider replacing the rubbers. Does anyone know the type of rubber (the profile shape) that fits into these? Thank you, Regards, Paul
I have an LM28 and have found water on the floor of the pilothouse and some water lying on the area where helmsman feet are placed. I traced the leak to the rear lower corner of the starboard pilot house window. As yet, I have not managed to seal the leak yet despite using "Captain Tolly Creaping Crack Cure" and silicon window sealant.
My leakage in the closet is solved. It was cracked open space around the filling point for diesel. I still have some water accumulating in the front window corner on the wheel or steering side
