i'm looking for a lm boat. my problem: i'm somewhere between 6'1" and 6'2" (189 cm). also, i'm not getting younger. so, i look for a lm where i can comfortably sleep. in addition, it would be nice if the site of the berths hasn't only 6'5" (2 m) length but also at least 80 cm width (2'7"). now, i wonder which lm fits into that "individual dating rules" or my "predator–prey system" — lm 24, 26, 27, 28… 🤔 any advice?
I have a LM30 - I will be on board later this week and will; measure the bunks for you.
You do not say how many berths you need, without measuring I can tell you that at 5'11" I mostly use the forward cabin on my own with head facing the bow and with the removable centre connecting cushion in place and sleep at an angle - very wide and comfortable.
My cruising mate sleeps in the Starboard berth in the main cabin where you can use the back cushions to make a really wide berth.
Hi Skippergw I took some pictures today but can’t seem to post them here as it says they are too large. I can email or WhatsApp them to you. My email is Johpom@gmail.com Regards John
